Currently hiring for a beer server for 2-5 days per month, mainly on Saturdays

Would you like to join our beer team?  We are currently hiring a beer server, mainly for Saturdays, our busiest day of the week.  Your normal shift will involve a lot of cleaning, working with cash/credit cards on a digital point of sales system, pouring beer, answering questions about beer, and changing kegs  --  all while being friendly and polite to upwards of 100 thirsty patrons in a sometimes-loud, fast-paced environment.

Our Saturday person would need to be available several Saturdays per month.  Saturday shifts are either from 10:30 a.m. to 5pm or 5pm til around midnight.  We're also open Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday nights from 4 PM - 11 PM, and have a few special events a month on Sunday/Monday/Tuesdays.  The successful candidate for our Saturday position would have the opportunity to pick up shifts on other nights too if they wanted more hours.

This is not a casual position and we require you to be knowledgeable/serious about beer.  All our new employees are required to have completed their Certified Beer Server training through the Cicerone Certification Program, which is a class that is available online, within three months of being hired.  We have a study guide that will help you through it and we will pay you back for the cost of the test if/when you pass.

If you're not scared yet, please keep reading!

We are looking for the best of the best to work in our tap room  --  beer-loving folks who are reliable, honest, hard-working, and fun.  We want you to know that we've put all of our time/money/hearts into FHB, and we're hoping we can hire people that will respect that.  Our employees are the face of our brand and business!

Tap room employees receive a competitive hourly salary plus tips.  Employees will be supplied with some free FHB apparel that will serve as a uniform.  Other benefits include free beers on days you don't work, free crowlers/growlers once each pay period, paid time off for volunteering, and free food every time we have a food pairing night.  We try our absolute best to offer a positive work environment and strive to facilitate good teamwork.

All the information we're looking for is included in the online application below, so please fill this out instead of just sending us your resume.   If you have any questions, please email contact@fathillbrewing.com.   Interviews will start immediately.  (October 2018)

We're thrilled you're interested in working with us!
