Drummer for Will Barnett & Company, Antonio Lopes and his jazz trio make their Fat Hill Brewing debut performing tunes from the Great American Songbook and other jazz standards by jazz legends such as Duke Ellington, Dizzy Gillespe, Miles Davis, Wayne Shorter, and more.

Antonio Lopes is a devoted and dynamic performer, educator, band leader, and producer based in northern Iowa. He has been proud to call the region "home" after arriving in 2019 from California and he has been an active performer in Iowa and Minnesota since. Antonio has performed at top Iowa jazz venues and events around the state including Noce in Des Moines and the Iowa City Jazz Festival. Antonio has performed with many notable Iowa groups, organizations, and individuals including BYOBrass, The Max Wellman Big Band, NOLA Jazz, Anthony Orji, Robert Espe, Carson Parker, and more. In addition to being a sideman, Antonio also directs his own groups - the Antonio Lopes Trio and Quartet. In addition to jazz, Antonio enjoys a wide pallet of music as he also performed with Will Barnett & Company, The Mockingbirds, Vinylfest, the Mason City Municipal Band, the Clear Lake Municipal Band, the Cherokee Symphony, the Iowa Choral Directors Association, members of the Fort Dodge Area Symphony, and more.
