Anyone looking to work on their German or Spanish language skills is welcome to join us every 1st Tuesday of the month at 7 PM.

The goal of the conversation clubs are to

- have fun

- work on our listening and speaking skills

- get better at making up sentences on the fly!

(If you’re a DuoLingo user, you probably aren’t getting enough practice making up your own sentences, so that last goal is especially important for you app people!)

All levels are welcome. Depending on how many people show up to each meeting, our facilitator will divide the group according to skill levels, give each table ice breakers or conversation starters, and help anyone that needs it. This group will be most helpful to those who are actively working towards improving their German and are practicing often outside our monthly meet-ups. It also would be great for those of you who perhaps learned the basics years ago in school but would like to revive some forgotten skills!

Our facilitator for the German group is ESL instructor and German language enthusiast Jeremy True. Our facilitator for the Spanish group is High School Spanish teacher Mackensie Sauerbrei or NIACC instructor Matthrew Griffin.

This group is design to be casual and fun and FREE. There are no attendance requirements and no purchase is necessary at the bar. Must be 21+ to participate unless with a parent or guardian.
